Six months old...

I can't believe it, is my little Graci really 6 months old?? Where does the time go, REALLY, where does it go??

Our sweet little buttercup is just a handful of fun lately! I have never seen a baby that smiles so much! She smiles at us all the time, and laughs, don't even get me started on the sweet little belly laughs that this one can let out! She is a happy baby, sleeps GREAT (average 11 hours at night), loves her sister (I can't get enough of watching Graci watch Madi, it is the sweetest thing), loves to eat, loves her silky (you can give her her silky and withing a split second she pulls it up to her face and pops her thumb in her mouth), yes she LOVES her thumb. She can roll anywhere she wants too, and is sitting up pretty good for long periods of time. I am so blessed with two healthy beautiful little girls.

Madi loves her sister. She is always excited when she wakes up. She calls her "graci, graci, graci". Yes, she says it 3 times. It is so cute. She loves to give her hugs and kisses and even shares her horses with her. I hang on every moment with these two, but I know it is going to be awesome watching them grow up together!!

Graci's six month stats: 16 lbs 12 oz (7.7 at birth; Madi was 17.4 at 6 months and 7.8 at birth). She was 26.5 inches long (19 at birth; Madi was 28.5 at 6 months and 21 at birth).

Graci's first Valentines...

Since it is Graci's first Valentines, I had a sweet little photo shoot today with my girls. I absolutely love taking pictures of these two! Here are my favorites...

Valentines fun...

We had the best day today!! We got to stay home all day in our PJs and played together all day!! It was the best. The girls started their day getting their presents. YES, you may notice that Graci is sitting up. She is not perfect but very close. Madi also enjoyed helping Daddy make cupcakes. We even ordered in a yummy Italian dinner, who could ask for a more perfect Valentines Day than getting to spend it with your family!!

Playtime...

We also played a little out on the porch and I got a few cute ones of my sweet Madi. She really has started liking being in front of the camera and I am LOVING it!!

Madi's serious face...

This is one day after Madi woke up from her nap. We were playing around and my camera was close by because I had taken some pics of her before she went down for her nap. This is her "are you kidding me, I just woke up" mom face... I love the messed up hair too, it just adds to the pouty little face!

Graci's first cereal...

We started giving Graci cereal a couple of weeks and she loves it!! She makes the sweetest little "umm, umm, umm" sounds when she eats it. Madi is all about it too, she loves to feed sister!

Nap time...

I have so much fun with these two sweet girls during the day. We play and read books and giggle a lot!! I really would not take anything for this cherished time with my girls! I thank God that I have been blessed with a career that allows me to spend this time with my girls. The other day I decided to take some pictures of them when they were going down for their naps. They both take GREAT afternoon naps and go down at the same time. They always are smiling and still giggling when I lay them down, so I got my camera this particular day. I even snuck back in after they both had fallen asleep and snapped one more picture...

Zing, Zang, Zoom...

We went to the circus with my parents a couple of weeks ago. Madi LOVED it!! Her favorite of course was the horses, but she did love the elephants too! Graci did take a nap during the show, but when she was up she was amazed with all the lights!

Hello!

 

Madi's first dentist visit...

This little angel did so well at her first dentist visit. She was a little hesitant, but got on up in the chair and held her little mouth open for both the assistant and the doctor. They counted her teeth (all 20) and then brushed them for her!! I was so proud of her...

 

Poor Mommy...

Well today was an interesting day. I started the day out (with help from my mom) headed to the dentist for Madi's first dentist visit (pics to come soon). It went very well and she did great, it just started off bad. When we got there it was cool so my mom & Madi hurried on in and I was getting the stroller out to put Grayson in (still in her car seat though). I pulled the stroller up to the side of the car just like I always do, reach in to get Graci out (who I must say is getting VERY heavy); once I lift the seat out of the base I started to back up (like I always do a couple of steps and then pop her in the stroller) and unfortunately I must have pulled the stroller up to far and tripped over the tire. Well there we went. I fell, and I fell hard. There was a truck parked right next to us and the impact was at my lower back (around the kidney area) against the running boards sticking out on the truck. Once my back hit my head slung back into the truck also, and then I was down. I just sat there for a second thinking to myself "this really just did not happen" and then quickly looked at Grayson who is still raised up as if I was still lifting her out and she looked at me and gave me a little grin. I did the best I could and put her beside me and untangled myself from the stroller (ans quickly looked to see if anyone witnessed this) and got up. Well, tonight is much worse. I am hurting really bad where my back hit but it has started hurting all the way across my lower back... I probably will not be able to move tomorrow!! I hurt just sitting here typing this. Anyway, say a little prayer that my back is okay and I did not hurt myself to bad and that maybe I will be able to move tomorrow...

Play date with Bree...

We had a play date today with Miss Bree. My best friend of 15 years and had Bree just 4 weeks after Grayson was born. We had the best time today hanging out and letting the girls play. Here are a few of the two of them hanging out...
