With this beautiful weather who can resist being outside. So I decided to pack a picnic, pick Daddy up at work, and have lunch at the park on the Cahaba river. It was great. Madison was really checking out the big tree we were laying under. She is getting so curious about things. We enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to do it again.
This past weekend we went and stayed the night with Pop and Nana at the campground on Smith Lake. Great Grandmother and Grandaddy were there camping also. In these pictures we are cooking breakfast outside. You can see cast iron dutch ovens with charcoal on them, they actually have biscuits in them cooking! They were delicous. The weather was great and Madi had a great time. We can't wait to go back!
Here Madi is showing us how strong she is. She has no problem holding her head up as well as her legs. She just stiffens her little body as tight as she can! Notice her little arms are straight back, all she needs is her cape and she is off! She loves airplane time with Daddy.
As you may know Madi's intials are MES, here we see her making a "MES" with her carrots. She thought she could blow spit bubbles, as she loves to do, with her carrots. The result, carrots all over her face including her forehead!

Sunday, September 3rd was a very special day for Madison. We dedicated her life to Christ. It was a beautiful day. She looked so precious in her long white gown that some very special people got for her, thank you all. What a blessing this day was. We give thanks to God everyday for blessing us with our Angel.
"What did you just put in my mouth?"
"I am not sure if I should say UMM or YUCK!"
"WOW, now that is sour!" As you can see, Madison had a few things to say about apple sauce. She will eat it, but this is what she thinks about it!
"This is the new table that my Daddy built me to play on while I am sitting in my Bumbo!"
"I really love my table. Look, it has my name on it!"
"Thank you this much Daddy for my new table!"
