Seven months old...

Things about Graci...
She is a GREAT sleeper
She loves her silky blanket, as soon as she gets her sweet little hand on it she pops her thumb in her mouth and is usually out in minutes
She loves her thumb, particularly when it is in her mouth
She hates passy's
She LOVES her big sister and thinks she is very funny
She is trying to say something that sounds like by by by by, we will see!
She does not like a bottle, she is partial to mommy
She is sitting up very good
Still no teeth (fine by me!!LOL)
She rolls everywhere
She is such a content and good baby, hardly ever cries
I think she is going to be a girly girl
She has the sweetest little belly laugh
She loves her daddy
She might be a mommy's girl...

My sweet little Madi...she climbed in Graci's bed while I was taking the froggie pictures and wanted me to take her picture too...I love this little girl so much!

Playing Catch Up...

I really planned on doing so much better this year, and here I am, catching up with about 6 weeks of pictures!!

More snow pictures, my girl had so much fun in the snow. We really did get a lot, she would fall back in it and make snow angels. She also ate a lot of it and called it snow cream (learned this from Little Bear)...




Fun day at the park on one of the warm days we had several weeks ago...

We went to my grandparents recently to celebrate my Dad's birthday. Madi loves playing outside there and playing with their donkey...


Playing out in the yard; she made a pine cone bird feeder at school and we hung it in the tree in the front yard...

We went for a walk on the Cahaba a few weeks ago, it is a pretty little nature trail that they have made along the river...

Madi loves her camera and is always taking pictures (I do not have anything to do with this, LOL). This particular day she wanted to take pictures of her sister and wanted me to "pose" her for her...
I have a thing with taking pictures of my girls on the changing table. I did it with Madi too. I guess she is just so cute and smiley getting her diaper changed I always want to grab the camera...
And Madi wanted to get up there with her, I love these girls so much...
Playing with horses and watching Noggin...
Riding her horsey (one of many) and loving on her Nana... She had Nana's shoes on in the bottom pictures and was playing her flute, it was pretty funny!
Ready for dance, after she got dressed she asked that I take her picture. She did these little poses for me by herself. Dance is going really well. She loves it. They have started preparing for a spring recital, I can't wit to see how that goes!!

Mardi Gras 2009

We continued with our yearly tradition this year and went down to celebrate Mardi Gras. A couple of weeks ago we went down to the beach and spent a nice long weekend with our good friends Brad, Shelly, and their little man Letson. It was a much needed getaway and we had a blast. Of course, we went to several parades and Madi loved them. She would wave her little hand for beads and she got a ton! In some of the pictures you will see her with a panda bear (aka "my teddy bear") and he has not left her side since. She loves the bear... Graci did not get to experience everything quite yet because she was a little too young, I kept her shielded because I did not want her to get hit with the beads!!

We also visited the beach a couple of times while we were down and let Madi run and play. I can't wait until we go back down because she is going to love the beach so much this year!!

Thanks Brad & Shelly as always for a wonderful time! I can't wait until our next trip down and we get to meet your sweet baby girl!!

Piggies...

I have this picture of Madi on the wall and today Graci was eating her piggies on the changing table just like Madi did so I grabbed the camera. I just love when little ones eat their piggies!

 

SNOW!!

As soon as Madi saw the snow this morning she immediately started looking for her snowsuit (which she does not even have). I guess she has been watching too much Little Bear because she also said "umm, snow cream!". Too cute! We took the girls out and let Madi play for a bit. Graci stayed out long enough for a picture and I took her back in. I love the look on Graci's face, it like "what in the world are you doing to me and why do I have 4 sets of sleepers on??". It is still really coming down now and we already have at least 2 inches so I can't wait to see how much we get!! I will post more pics later!!
