Labor Day Weekend...

Labor Day weekend we went down for a long weekend to the beach and spent some time with our good friends Shelly & Brad and their family. As always we had a blast and can't wait to see them again!

It was also the weekend of the first Alabama game so we had a cookout and watched the game...all the kids are so cute in their Bama gear!

The lazy river was a little more than Madi could handle...how sweet is this!! You know daddy was in heaven!
We talked Madi into going down the slide, but she only wold do it one time!

The day we left Brad & Shelly took us to this cool place at Barber's Marina since Madi loves dinosaurs so much. She was so excited when she saw the big dinosaurs in the woods...I have to say it was really neat, but what I will never forget about getting out there was the love bugs...I have never seen so many!! Oh, and Madi thought it was so neat that the little grasshopper landed on her ankle...

Graci's One Year Pics...

she loves her little lady bug so I thought she would have fun on it for some pics...


she had not been walking that long, I love those little arms up for balance...


we had a lot of fun doing her pictures, it was just Graci and me...but she was a busy little thing, looking at everything but me!

We also did some pictures outside at the house for her birthday card...Madi was so cute in her Snow White dress up shoes and mardi gras beads!!







And of course one of our beautiful little three year old, she is such a sweet little girl!

More summer fun!

We went to visit with Granddaddy & Grandmother to celebrate Granddaddy's birthday...Graci shares his birthday with him, she was born on his 80th birthday!!

So we have had a lot of rain lately...so how do you make the best of it?? You take all the pillows off the couch and jump onto them a million times!!!
or just fall face first into them....

Graci was not sure about sister jumping on all those pillows, so she kept her distance!
