First Snow!
Well, we did not get as much as snow as we had hoped for, nor did it last as long as we thought it would. I thought I would have plenty of time, so I decided to feed Madi lunch before we went out. The ground was almost completely covered and was so pretty! When we got out there, it was all melted and gone! I was so disappointed! Madi still had herself a good time! Maybe next time...

What's in Mommy's belly?
This is too cute. You may want to go to the bottom of the page and pause the music so you can hear Madi talking to us...

First doctors visit...
I had my first visit with my OB this morning. We once again got to hear one of the most precious sounds, our little babies heart beat! Everything looked good. The baby is measuring 6 wks 4 days, so that puts my due date at August 31st. This pregnancy, compared to my pregnancy with Madi, is totally different. I never once felt pregnant with Madi. I was a little tired, but that is it! I never got sick with her. I was very lucky! Well, this one is totally different! I have been sick since the week before I found out we were having another baby! It comes and goes, so I have good days and bad days. I am also very tired. All that to say, I have thought from the beginning it was a boy just because the pregnancy is so different! The heart rate was 136, where Madi's were always in the 150's to 160s. I have always heard that the lower the heart rate the higher the chance is that it is a boy. We will see if my gut feelings are true in about 12 weeks! We do not care either way, boy or girl, just as long as our baby is healthy! Please pray for my pregnancy and our new baby during this most important time of development...

Climbing in my swing...
Our spare bedroom over the past 19 or so months has turned into a place to store Madi's older toys. She decided she wanted in her swing, which was all the way in the corner. She climbed over several toys and boxes to get to it, but bound and determined, she got in and went "WEE, WEE, WEE". I love the hard concentration when she is climbing into it, notice the little tongue...

Christmas night back at home...
When we made it back home Christmas day Madi could not wait to play with her kitchen. She got the pie cabinet from Santa, the fridge from Paw-Paw & Gran-Gran, the stove from Pop & Nana, and all the little wooden accesories from Grandaddy & Grandmother. She LOVES playing with it and making us stuff. We were very blessed this Christmas and are so thankful for why we celebrate. Thank you God for your Son. And once again, thank you God for blessing us with another precious angel...
Christmas morning...
Madi had so much fun opening all her presents and seeing what Santa brought her. She loved it all! She ran straight to her baby doll & stroller first then saw the kitchen and tea set and had to fix us all a drink!! I love all the expressions that she would give when she would open a new gift, she was so funny!

Christmas Eve Night
We did our usual family tradition on Christmas Eve night. We ate a yummy steak dinner, all opened one gift (PJs), read The Night Before Christmas, and watched the Polar Express. We had lots of fun!!
