Camping with Pop & Nana...

A few weeks ago we went camping with Pop & Nana up on Smith Lake at Corinth Campground (great place if you like to camp). We had the best time and ate lots of great food! It was a little cool so we got to even enjoy some camp fires...

Madi loved digging in the rocks with her Nana...

Getting ready to go fishing with Daddy...
We had a great breakfast that my Dad cooked out on the campfire....the girls love playing in Pop & Nana's RV...
Enjoying the warm fire...
They had the best time in the wagon together...Madi is being so sweet to her sister sharing her juice...

We walked down to the water and Madi had so much fun filling up her bucket with water and dumping it out...the water was up so high...we had never seen it up that high...

Take my picture...

Madi wanted me to take her picture, so of course I said yes...

You've got to talk to me...

Madi: "Mommy..."
Me: "Hey baby..."
Madi: "Don't say hey to me, you got to talk to me, just like daddy talks to me..."

She says this to me all the time, and only me, and her daddy answers the same way as I do!!

Madi is all about me taking her picture lately, she asks me all the time to take her picture...and turns on the smiles!

Singing in the rain...

It was raining on this day so I opened the door to let the girls watch. Graci loved it, and Madi as you can see was out there sticking her head in it. Graci ended up getting tired of it and cried a little and Madi kept coming and patting her on her head telling her it was okay...

Synchronized ducks??

These are some pictures that I snapped during some of my Easter minis. I have never seen ducks act like this, it was the funniest thing!!
I love watching my girls play together...
Madi loved the brown bunny so much. The bunnies went home with the Easter bunny on Sunday. Madi is going to miss her brown bunny so much. I told her that they would visit again next spring and she said "then the Easter bunny will take them home?"

Madi caught her first fish, she was tickled to death! She even gave it a kiss!

To the zoo with friends...

During Madi's spring break we got together with some friends and took all the kiddos to the zoo (just a suggestion, don't go to the zoo during spring break, it was packed!). The kids all had a great time. Madi & Will were too cute walking around holding hands, and I love how growny Will looks with his hat turned around backwards...

Spring Carnival...

During spring break we took Madi to the carnival in Trussville and she had a blast. She rode all the little rides and even played a little game and won a ball.

She wanted to ride this, but was not thrilled, but she was such a big girl and did not cry, just held on very tight!

Guess who has gotten her first tooth??

or make that two! Last Sunday 3/29 Graci got her first tooth, and right behind it is her second tooth (bottom right first, then left)!! She has been a slobbering everywhere and rubbing it with her tongue, she is growing up way too fast!!

Madi loves dressing herself...

this just cracks me up!!

Afternoon fun...

Madi loves to tell Graci about things and what they are and how they work...

Sweet girl watching her big sister play...she can't wait to be on her heels!

What do you say?

Me: "Madi, what is this on mommy's wall?"
Madi: with such innocent sad little eyes "crayon"
Me: "why did you do this baby, where are we supposed to color?"
Madi: with very sad innocent eyes "on paper"
Me: "that is right baby, we do not color on the walls, that will get Madi in trouble" (with plans of putting her in time out following this conversation)
Madi: with the same very sad innocent eyes and sweetest little voice "are you happy now?" and leans over and hugs me and says "I love you mommy"
Me: with a laugh "I love you too baby" and no time out...

Sweet little Madi...

So what has this sweet little girl been up to...

Loves school, can't get enough of it...
Loves horses (just wanted to make sure that you knew that!!)
She is so smart...
she is almost 3, where does the time go??
she is such a good girl...
she however does have her occasional moments, but don't they all...
loves being outdoors...
did I tell you she loves horses??
she still naps pretty good...
when she wakes up in the mornings she calls "mama, mama..." until I come and get her, she does not get out of her bed, and when I open her door she says one of these..."good morning mommy," or "did the sun rise?", or "I slept good mommy"...
she calls Grayson "graci, graci, graci"...she always says it three times...
can't wait for Graci to "follow her"...
she loves her hair in pony tails, can't imagine why...
is a great big sister...
looks out for her little sister...
loves to play in the dirt...
loves puddles...
and last but not least she LOVES horses...

Sisters...

Ritz picnic...

During spring break our sweet neighbor Julia (whom Madi absolutely adores) came and spent the day with us. Notice the doll is even eating a piece of toast!

Daddy lovin...

I could watch this all night long...I love these three so much!

Art show...

We went to an art show tonight at Madi's school. She was so proud to show us her art work! I can't wait to get it home and framed for the wall!!

Prince...

A couple of weeks ago we went over to Jeremy's dads to let Madi ride his horse Prince. She was in heaven. She looked so comfortable up there! I think Jeremy & I are officially looking for land so we can get this baby girl some horses!!

Stellan...

If you have been keeping up with Stellan you may know that he is still not doing well. He had to have a blood transfusion today. You can click on his picture above for more on how he is doing.

We have been praying for Stellan for some time now. Before he was born a name gallery was started for him to show MckMama how many were thinking and praying for her sweet little man. This past weekend Jeremy and I wanted to do something for him, so we collected Dogwood blooms and spelled out his name...

May you get well soon sweet boy, God Bless you and your family...

Poor little bunny...

Madi likes to take care of the bunnies during my Easter sessions. She lets them run and play and get their exercise between sessions. Her favorite is the brown bunny. She loves him dearly. She wants to hold him all the time. She asks me everyday when does she get to have her Easter picture made so she can hold the brown bunny and tells me Graci can hold the white bunny. During one of my recent shoots she was carrying around the brown bunny like it was a doll. I had to snap a picture because it was just too cute...
