Lunch at the park with DaDa

We went and picked up DaDa and went to the park for a picnic lunch! I just love this time of year! We did this about the same time last year, so you know me, I tried to remember the "exact poses" and take the same photos so we could compare! Look how much our little girl has grown! How sweet!!

Cruising to Mexico...

We took a cruise for our family vacation this year. It was the first time for all 3 of us! We had the best time. We left out of Mobile on a Western Caribbean Cruise for 5 nights. We visited Cozumel and Calica Mexico. In Cozumel we rented a AIR CONDITIONED car and drove around the island. We ate at this great little place on top of a hill over looking the Caribbean called Coconuts. It was fabulous. A storm came in just to the south of us which was really neat to see. We then went swimming in the crystal clear ocean. In Calica we visited a eco park called XCARET. It tops our list of most enjoyable places we have ever been. Jeremy snorkeled in an underground cave. The beaches there were the most breathtaking beaches I have ever seen. We sat in little tiki huts right on the beach and relaxed, ate some of the best fajitas we have ever had, and of course swam in that beautiful water. We definitely will go back very soon! The ship was great too! Madi loved swimming and running up and down the long hallways. It was so cute because she would go from side to side because of the ship swaying! Also, the song that you are listening to we sang to the top of our lungs on the way down there; and look at the cute sign we found outside of Coconuts!! Enjoy the pics and slide show!

Here are some of my favorite pics:
You know I had to get a picture of this!

15 Amazing & Unforgettable Years...

Today is our 15-year-anniversary for being a couple (we have been married 6 of those years). I cannot believe 15 years has passed. We started "going steady" at the beginning of my 9th grade and Jeremy's 10th grade year, we were 15-years-old. We met the year prior to that. I had gotten moved to a new school bus. I hated it! I sat about mid ways back and Jeremy always sat in the front with friends of his. One day he came and sat in the seat in front of me and asked why I always sat by myself. I told him because I did not know anyone. From that day on I never sat by myself again. We became great friends that school year. We talked some over the summer, and the Friday before school started back at a football blue/white practice game he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes of course! We dated all through high school and college. Happy anniversary sweet heart, I love you with all my heart! Thank you for the most unforgettable past 15 years. You are such an amazing husband and father! Your girls love you so much!

Here is some old pics (I had to scan them in because we did not have digital cameras back in those days!) Sorry they are fuzzy...

Here lizard, lizard, lizard...

Okay, what is the deal? We have this little lizard that lives on our front porch. He is always there, and even sleeps behind my door hanger every night. Well, I have not seen him in a couple of days; owe but I found him!!! I was cleaning today and found him in my dining room! What is funny, this is the second lizard that I have found in the same bowl in my dining room since we have lived in our house (almost 6 years), how funny! If you know me, I do not like bugs, spiders, lizards... I found something to slide over the top of the bowl and screamed all the way to the front door. I felt like Rachel on Friends when that pigeon got into their apartment and she caught it with a pan!! Our little lizard is happy again on the front porch, but I told him no more coming in the house and to stick to his job of eating bugs and spiders!!

Sweet smiles...

Madi went for her 15-month checkup today. She weighed 22 pounds and 14 ounces (about 50th percentile) and was almost 34 inches (way off the charts...). She has continued on the path of tall and slender! Dr. Bearman says she is doing great! The mean owe nurse had to come in and spoil all the fun though with them mean owe shots, poor baby cried so hard, broke MaMa's heart...

Words Madi can say at 15 months...

Dada, MaMa, Pop, Nana, Cocoa, Freddy Fish (her pet fish), Julia (our neighbor that stayed with us this summer), Puppy, hey, by-by, good girl, thank you, night-night, baby, juice, pool, ball, no-no, go Gordon (Nascar, Jeff Gordon, DaDa's favorite driver), shoes, wee, duck, uh-oh. I am sure I am forgetting some, but we are proud of her sweet little vocabulary!

Words that I forgot: See, look, light, ready-to-go, beads, one, two, three...

Madi & Kenny

Okay, story to tell... Anyone who know me knows what a huge Kenny Chesney fan I am. I listen to him all the time in the car. Well, when I was pregnant I was in the car a lot either going to work or school. I always listened to Kenny. I usually turn it up and sing as loud as I can. Well, you know how they say when babies are in the womb they like to listen to music; and then after they are born they remember that music and it calms them. Well, this is so true in Madi & Kenny's case! Madi loves riding in the car, but from the time she was born when she would get upset riding we would do whatever we could to make her happy. Guess what it was, listening to Kenny! She could be so upset and I would turn Kenny on and she would hush almost instantly. Still works to this day! So today I had the TV on CMT and a Kenny's top 10 videos was on. I had noticed her watching it and playing, a little dancing here and there so I grabbed the camera. I thought I might get her dancing, but it is even cuter. This just happens to be my favorite Kenny song and probably the song that she has heard the most. Her reaction to the video is precious. You may want to go to the bottom of the page and pause my music player so you do not have 2 songs playing at once. ENJOY watching my sweetie!!

Pool fun...

We went to the pool today and had a blast! Madi thinks she is a big girl running all over the place! She had a good time with Julia, our neighbor who has stayed with us this summer. She loves jumping in off the side to me, it is the funniest thing to her!
